First Incision is the annual cocktail function held at the beginning of the year by the society. With past venues such as Noah’s on the Beach and Newcastle City Hall, this ticketed event cordially invites members to enjoy drinks and canapés in a formal setting. It provides the first opportunity of the year for older students to once again gather as a cohort, whilst also forming a sociable environment for which to welcome new students.

Largely due to the added day this year, the much anticipated first social event of the season FIRST INCISION is here.

For first years this is your chance to mingle and get to know the rest of the cohort. For all other years, the opportunity once again presents itself to rekindle friendships doused by the holidays, and of course prey on the unsuspecting first years.

FIRST YEARS – 6:30 – 11:30, this extra hour is to familiarise your own year group before everyone else rocks up

YEARS 2 to 5 – 7:30 – 11:30
