Applicants must be a resident of any Residential College at the University of Newcastle, not have previously received this scholarship and not have previously completed a degree. Selection of the scholar will be on the basis of provision of a written statement no more than 2 A4 pages outlining applicants involvement in all aspects of college life including academic, social, sporting and community life. |

Applicants must demonstrate either: Current involvement in competition and be a current or recent player for a sporting club, or sporting ability in an area of University competition from a list. Students who have held the scholarship for one year may apply for a subsequent year to a maximum of two years in total. The scholarships will be awarded on the basis of demonstrated sporting ability, academic merit and commitment to the sporting achievements of the University. |
