Monday 3rd August – Garage Sale and Sausage Sizzle

All day in the Auchmuty courtyard a plethora of bargains will await you.  Browse through the lot whilst eating a sausage sanger.  Bring some spare change for the raffle we will be holding, we will draw the winning ticket at 4pm for an amazing hamper.

Tuesday 4th August – Pin Day Sale and Bake Sale

All Day around Newcastle University.  Buy a pin to show your support, and enjoy a slice of cake while you’re at it in Auchmuty courtyard

Wednesday 5th August – Carnevale Charity Cocktail Night

Sunday 9th of August – City to Surf

Run with us, or support our runners by giving us your spare change in lectures, if you would like to do an internet transfer donation, email jane.asteriadis, and I will give you the details on how to do that.  Join the facebook event “City to Surf 2009″ for more details on training times.

All proceeds from the week are going towards The Nicholas Trust for paediatric palliative care.  The Nicholas Trust is a Hunter-based charity committed to establishing quality palliative care services for children in the final stages of their young lives.  As medical students we recognise a need for provision of paediatric palliative care at an international standard, and thus UNMS are wholly committed to the realisation of this service in our community.
